Psalm 13 | SSAATTBB

The text of Psalm 13 deals with extremes. The psalmist begins by asking the question, “How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord?” By the end, however, the text is one of hope and triumph, with the text stating, “I will sing unto the LORD for he hath dealt bountifully with me.”

The music reflects this process of self-discovery, with heaviness, deep agony, and death itself turning into life, gratitude, and radiant love. This is an emotional journey for singers and listeners alike, and will leave both with a feeling of indescribable peace.
